What is an easy job?

1. Jobs where I can finish a week’s worth of work in a few hours.
2. Jobs where I can finish a few day’s worth of work in a few hours.

The job should not cause anxiety

What is the opposite of that scenario?

The work causes anxiety. I will keep thinking, dreading about the task that I am working on or how things will play out in the next few days. That is not a good thing. When I leave work, I should leave it behind and not have to think about it so many times.

Tips

1. I should not try to spend too much time on difficult jobs.
2. Whatever I do on the difficult jobs, I should do it only after taking care of things on the easy job. Usually, it doesn’t take much.
3. If I don’t take care of the things on the easy jobs, I am putting both the easy jobs and difficult jobs at jeopardy.

I cannot quit the easy jobs because, since I know a lot of the stuff in the projects, I can spend 2-3 hours a day on them and still get enough done for a day. I can spend the rest of the time on other jobs or other things. If I quit the easy jobs and find other jobs that are difficult, I will not have enough time in the day to learn and do stuff on the jobs simultaneously. I need the two paychecks to get ready for buying a house. I cannot loose them. Do not forget these things when dealing with teammates and colleagues.
