Issue with trying to go full stack.org

  1. I quit the project at Liberty Mutual in December last year (December 31st).
  2. The idea was to work in projects that use Java primarily.
  3. I feel that the goal is achieved. I feel much more confident about various topics and taking interviews head-on and cracking them .
  4. For the topics that I am not too familiar with, doing POCs is helping but they are not major hurdles.
  5. One of the cons is that I lost touch with javascript. But I am not worried about it too much.
  6. This experience helped me to focus on important things without worrying about “languages” too much.
  7. If there is free time, spend it on learning languages other than javascript; languages like Rust, Go, Haskell, Python, etc. And also focus on coding challenges.
  8. Also, focus on Cloud Engineering and AI and Data Mining.
  9. Don’t ever try to go full stack again. Acknowledge that you have to let go of learning Angular/React and move on. Don’t try to put them on your resume.
