Issue with trying to go full stack.org
- I quit the project at Liberty Mutual in December last year (December 31st).
- The idea was to work in projects that use Java primarily.
- I feel that the goal is achieved. I feel much more confident about various topics and taking interviews head-on and cracking them .
- For the topics that I am not too familiar with, doing POCs is helping but they are not major hurdles.
- One of the cons is that I lost touch with javascript. But I am not worried about it too much.
- This experience helped me to focus on important things without worrying about “languages” too much.
- If there is free time, spend it on learning languages other than javascript; languages like Rust, Go, Haskell, Python, etc. And also focus on coding challenges.
- Also, focus on Cloud Engineering and AI and Data Mining.
- Don’t ever try to go full stack again. Acknowledge that you have to let go of learning Angular/React and move on. Don’t try to put them on your resume.
