Planning and time management

Time management during the week days with multiple jobs

Scrum masters ask for status updates. It is their job. There is no point in getting mad at them. Instead of getting mad at them, I should think about the following things. What is the reason that I do not have an update when they ask me for an update? Is my inability to complete tasks on time manifesting as anger towards scrum masters?

  1. During the week, focus on work tasks before spending time on personal tasks.

  2. What to do during extra hours in the morning and in the evening?

  3. They should be spent on work tasks as well.

  4. If I am lagging behind with tasks at work, there is no point to all the personal development notes.

  5. Most of the work needs to be done by lunch time.

    1. Start early in the morning and wrap up as many tasks as possible by early afternoon.
    2. That way, I will be able to spend at least some time on personal tasks later in the day.
  6. Figure out a way to take breaks during the course of the day. Sitting at the desk for 8 hours straight is not healthy.

  7. Use time efficiently; especially on Thursdays and Fridays because, usually, there are not too many meetings on those days. If you manage time well, you would not have to work during the weekends. That would be beneficial for spending time without stress. Try to finish work on Thursdays and Fridays so that you can be free during the weekends.
