A structured, documented process for job searches is very important.

Job Search Shortcuts

Use the following search in Google to search ATS (Applicant Tracking System) sites. Update the site URLs to search different ATS systems. Update the text in quotations to meet your search criteria

  1. site:boards.greenhouse.io united states intext:“apply”, (intext:“Remote”), (intext:“product content” OR intext:“help center content”)
  2. site:lever.com united states intext:“apply”, (intext:“Remote”), (intext:“Remote”), (intext:“product content” OR intext:“help center content”)
  3. site:my.workday.jobs united states intext:“apply”, (intext:“Remote”), (intext:“product content” OR intext:“help center content”)

Target roles that have been posted recently on LinkedIn:

  1. Go to LinkedIn and log into your account
  2. Click on “Jobs” in the top navigation bar
  3. Enter your desired job title, skills, or company in the search bar
  4. Click on the “All filters” button (usually located near the top of the results)
  5. Scroll down to the “Date posted” section
  6. Select “Past 24 hours” or “Past week” (then you can further refine)
  7. Click “Show results” to apply the filters
  8. LinkedIn also has a “Sort by” option that lets you sort by “Most recent” to see the newest postings first.

Job Search Websites

Applied to an insurance company in Charlotte and mentioned that I am looking for $140K when the job listing was posted at $105K or $110K. Should stop making mistakes like that.
